TrimBox is an Android app that auto-packs your camping gear into a 3D Kia Sorento trunk and checks whether the tailgate still closes.

What it does
One tap: Will it fit?
Tells you how many items in your current layout are blocked and how many would fit after repacking, and applies the better layout with one tap. Blocked items turn red with the reason: wheel arch, ceiling, tailgate, seatback or another item.
Tailgate check and second-row slide
If the top of a load hits the sloped tailgate, it shows how far it sticks out. If not everything fits, it suggests how many centimeters to slide the second-row seats forward.
Auto-pack
Big items go low and deep, long items are laid flat, small items fill the gaps. Items of 20 kg or more stay on the floor and things you reach for often, like a cooler, go near the tailgate. It never returns a layout with floating or overlapping items.

Numbers every item in the order to load it and steps through them one at a time.

184 camping items such as tents, tarps, tables, chairs, coolers, sleeping bags, mats and storage boxes, plus 8 suitcases and 5 moving boxes. Search, set a quantity, or add one of 3 suggested sets (Minimal for 2, Family of 4, Solo backpacking). Enter the size of anything missing.
Move things yourself, and save
Rotate and zoom the trunk, drag items, rotate or delete them, undo and redo. Layouts save automatically, and you can save several by name.

Data and permissions
- The app shows Google AdMob ads. The ads SDK shares the advertising ID and app set ID, approximate location estimated from the IP address, app interactions and diagnostics with Google for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland an ad consent screen (Google UMP) appears, and you can change your choice any time in Privacy options on the app info screen. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings.
- Only the ads SDK uses the internet. There is no account, sign-in or payment, and no analytics or crash reporting SDK.
- Layouts and their names are stored only on your phone and are never put into ad requests.
- Sharing or saving an image, exporting or importing a layout file and sending feedback email happen only when you tap them, through Android's share sheet, photo storage, file picker or your mail app. The error log stays on your phone and goes into a feedback email only if you choose to include it.

What it can't do
- This is a beta. The Kia Sorento MQ4 is the only car with a real trunk shape for now.
- Some dimensions (height, tailgate slope, wheel-arch length) are estimates from owner measurements and published data and may differ from your car by a few centimeters. Leave some room for tight fits.
- Every item is treated as a box of its width, depth and height. Under-floor storage, an upright third row and the luggage cover are not modeled.
- Weights are estimates from product data or typical values for the item type.
- A layout holds up to 64 items.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with other cars?
The only car with a real trunk shape for now is the Kia Sorento MQ4 (5-seat, or 7-seat with the third row folded). For other cars, enter trunk width, depth and height (wheel arches optional) to get a simple box shape.
How close is the verdict to my real car?
Dimensions come from 8 owner tape-measure reports and published data, but some are estimates and may be off by a few centimeters. Leave room for tight fits, and tell us at sugarmount21@gmail.com if a dimension looks wrong.
Does it need the internet?
No. Packing and the verdict are calculated on your phone. Only ads use the internet; without a connection, ads simply don't appear.
Does it show ads?
An app open ad may appear when you return to the app after being away for a while. Rewarded ads play only when you choose to watch one to make a loading-order card.
